Cabin Classes

Economy

Class cabins contain seats with a pitch of 31 inches, 120 degrees of recline and seat-back screens are available on most aircraft. Passengers are served drinks and snacks prior to take-off. The in-flight menu includes a choice of 2 meals, breakfast and a range of beverages including mineral water, Austrian wines, beer, tea and coffee. Entertainment includes range of movies, 12 audio programs, computer games and extra programs based around the destination.

Business

Business Class cabins contain flat beds with a pitch of 59 inches, privacy screens, electronic controls, in-seat power supply, personal storage, massage functions, telephones, Dolby surround sound and personal swivel screens. Passengers on long haul flights are provided pillows, blankets and amenity kits containing cosmetics. The in-flight menu is prepared by a chef on board and has 6 courses including antipasti, chesses and desserts. The chef can also cater towards your cuisine and dietary preferences if requested. Beverages include top wines and traditional Austrian coffee. Personal screens offer 18 channels of movies and programs. There are also a range of audio programs and games available.

Baggage

Economy Class passengers are allowed 1 piece of small hand luggage and 1 or 2 pieces of 23kg checked baggage depending on the destination. Please refer to the airline for more information. Business Class passengers are allowed 1 piece of small hand luggage and 1 or 2 pieces of 32kg checked baggage depending on the destination. Please refer to the airline for more information.

Check-in Options

Austrian Airlines offers mobile and web check-in on some flights from 24 hours to 1 hour before departure. If checking-in at the airport, it closes 45 to 75 minutes before the departure time for international economy flights. Check-in for international business class flights closes between 30 and 75 minutes before the departure time. Please refer to the airline for more details.

Rewards Program

The Miles and More rewards program allows members to earn points when they fly with Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa or shop with their affiliated partners including hotels, car hire companies, credit card programs and other retail companies. Accumulated points can be used towards discount flights, upgrades, extra baggage and other benefits with Austrian Airlines and their partners.

Lounges

Austrian Airlines has 5 lounges located at Vienna Airport. These include the HON Circle Lounge, Senator Lounge Pier West, Senator Lounge Pier East, Business Lounge Plaza and Business Lounge Pier East. Facilities vary between lounges and can include TV screens, wireless internet access and business facilities. A varying range of food including meals, desserts, snacks and beverages are also served in the lounges. Business Class passengers, Miles & More Frequent Traveller members, Star Alliance members and Senator Card holders have select access to the lounges. Please refer to the airline for more details.
