Our Lowest Airfare Guarantee applies to international airfares that originate in/depart from New Zealand. Travel vouchers are only provided on airfare quotes when you accept the price beat. Excludes domestic airfares.

Other New Zealand travel agencies, airlines and New Zealand registered businesses and websites.

What does available mean?

The airfare must be available and able to be booked by the general public when you bring it to us. Any written quotes should be provided to Flight Centre on the same day that they are obtained. Available means that the identical airfare you have received a quote for is currently saleable and able to be booked in the same booking class, for the same number of passengers, on the same date and at the same time. Fares available due to membership of a group or corporate entity or subscription to a closed user group are excluded.

What if I want to travel on a different date than on my original quote?

The price beat applies only for travel on the same dates and flights.

When can I ask Flight Centre to price beat?

Your airfare quote must be in writing and must be presented to us prior to booking. It does not apply to written quotes presented after booking.

What if I want to use this price for my friends to book?

The quote must reflect the number of passengers looking to book as per the quote. Of course, if we can book everyone at the same low price we'll do so.

Will Flight Centre beat quotes from foreign websites or for travel that originates outside New Zealand.

No.

What happens if Flight Centre beats the price I have been quoted?

If the qualifying criteria are met we will beat your airfare quote by $1 and issue each traveller on the booking with a $20 travel voucher, provided that you purchase the airfare quoted by Flight Centre at that price.

Do I need to make a decision to purchase on the spot?

Yes. Flight Centre's offer to beat airfare quotes meeting the qualifying criteria must be accepted by paying a deposit or in full on the spot. If you do not wish to purchase there and then, you are welcome to keep shopping around and bring in other quotes, however any previous quotes provided will not need to be beaten by Flight Centre.

Does every passenger on a Price beat qualify for a $20 travel voucher?

For airfares, yes

When will I be given my voucher?

Your Flight Centre consultant may be unable to physically provide you with a voucher at the time of purchase due to needing to lodge the travel voucher into Flight Centre's booking system, however your consultant will advise you when the travel voucher will be issued to you.

Can I use the $20 travel voucher on my current booking that my consultant is price beating?

No, the voucher can only be used for future airfares booked in any New Zealand Flight Centre store within 12 months from the date of issue. On redemption only one voucher per passenger may be used per booking.

Can I redeem my voucher for foreign exchange?

Your voucher can not be redeemed for cash or foreign exchange, however it can be used on any future airfares booked in any New Zealand Flight Centre store.

Can I pay by finance card?

Yes, but all applicable merchant charges do apply. Some finance companies charge a set-up and transaction fee, which will be on-charged. The overall price with all relevant fees included, will still be beaten by $1 pp.

Can I give my voucher to a friend to use?

You can give your $20 Travel Money voucher to a friend to use within the 12 month validity period.

Can I redeem my $20 travel voucher online at www.flightcentre.co.nz?

No, you can only redeem your voucher for future travel in a New Zealand Flight Centre store.

What happens if I have already booked and then find a cheaper price for the same flight but I have not paid in full?

Flight Centre will only price beat where your quote is presented to us prior to booking. Of course, your Flight Centre consultant will be happy to rebook on the cheaper fare if it is available at the time you are travelling. Cancellation or change fees may apply to your original booking.

If we are required to beat your airfare quote and we don't then you Fly Free. Your consultant will do everything they can to beat the airfare you have been quoted. If the qualifying criteria are met we will beat that price by $1 and issue you with a $20 travel voucher. If the qualifying criteria are met and your consultant does not beat your quoted price you will receive your flight free of charge. When can I use my free flight?

The free flight applies to the booking you are currently requesting Flight Centre to beat.

Who books and pays for the free flight?

We will book and pay for your free flight which will be identical to the one you have asked us to price beat.

Can I be reimbursed for a flight I have booked?

No. We do not reimburse you for flights you have purchased elsewhere, nor do we provide you with cash or vouchers to the value of the flight we were asked to price beat.

When do I need to claim my free flight?

You must make your free flight claim prior to flying or within 7 days of your quote not being beaten (whichever occurs first).
