A walking tour around the Precinct provides a fascinating glimpse of the history of Central Australia, and of some of the local identities who helped to build both the town of Alice Springs and the Northern Territory. The site is culturally significant to Aboriginal people of the area. There are seven registered sacred sites and trees of significance, belonging to the Two Women Dreaming Track, on the Precinct.
