Barrington Tops National Park Information

Barrington Tops National Park is located on 73,933 hectares and is listed on the World Heritage List. The National Park is located 38 kilometres west of Gloucester, 40 Kilometres north-west of Dungog and 65 Kilometres east of Scone.

Six rivers rush through the forests of this mountainous park. So great that altitude changes, you can see Antarctic beech forests, snow gums, swamps and subtropical rainforest in a day's walk.

There are lookouts, including Devil's Hole lookout and walking tracks at Gloucester Tops, Williams River and Careys Peak.

Wheelchair access is provided at Devils Hole Lookout and the Williams River picnic area.

Car based camping is available at Gloucester River (fees apply), Polbue Swamp, Horse Swamp or Devils Hole.
