Flinders Chase National Park, located at the western end of Kangaroo Island, encompasses stunning coastal landscapes, vast areas of wilderness and diversity of wildlife.
The Flinders Chase Visitor Centre at Rocky River is the gateway to the park. There you can obtain information about the park, permits for camping and entry to Flinders Chase. There is also a souvenir shop and licensed cafe that provides lunch and light snacks.

Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch, witness the amazing wild forces of nature. Sitting atop a smooth granite dome on the cliff face, the impressive Remarkable Rocks form what appear to be a cluster of precariously balanced boulders. This remarkable geological feature is located within Flinders Chase National Park.

The park provides visitors with the opportunity to see an abundance of bird life and plants, and a wide variety of animals such as echidnas, Cape Barren geese and koalas. Some animals such as kangaroos, wallabies and Brush tail possums are best observed at dusk or early morning.
Rental accommodation is available in historic light keepers' cottages at Cape du Couedic and at Cape Borda Light station, and in May's Homestead at Rocky River. Backpacker style accommodation is also available in Postman's Cottage at Rocky River and Woodward Hut at Cape Borda Light station.
A network of walking trails exist in Flinders Chase and provide opportunities for walkers of all abilities to enjoy the park and its wildlife.
