"One of Australia's great Shiraz producers, Pat Carmody carefully and quietly goes about his business crafting wines of wonderful balance, length and gentle power. The Shiraz is spicy and peppery with yummy squashed summer berry flavours and a savoury hint to finish; Cabernet is similarly impressive, with deep, ripe and concentrated cassis notes; and Chardonnay is complex and generous without being too blousy, as many Australian Chardonnays tend to be.
