Mt Buller is shaping up to be one of the most popular skiing destinations in Australia. An average snow fall of 1.5 makes conditions great for those who wish to take to the slopes. But when the snow levels are low then the snow making machines are fired up to get things moving again.

25 ski lifts service the snow fields and can move up to 40,000 people per hour. There's usually only about 10,00 people on the fields at any one time so visitors can count on short queues when moving around the mountain. Lots of ski trails are spread out over 180 hectares, the longest is two and a half kilometers long.
