Enjoy spectacular views of the Adelaide Plains, Kangaroo Island and Yorke Peninsula from Mount Lofty Summit – the highest peak closest to Adelaide, standing 710.1 metres above sea level, and part of the Mount Lofty Ranges.
Stroll through the stringybark forest, stopping to look around at the cameo views, birdlife and the occasional Southern Brown Bandicoot. The Discovery Walk takes five to ten minutes. The Cleland Wildlife Park Walk takes one to one and a half hours return, and the Waterfall Gully walk takes approximately two and a half hours return.

The Summit Restaurant Mount Lofty is open every day for breakfast and lunch and Wednesday to Sunday for dinner. For bookings telephone 08 8339 2600. Groups can learn about the historic and cultural features of Mount Lofty Summit. These are available by appointment and conducted by the Tourism Information Officers.
