Sixteen kilometers in length and five kilometers wide, Thistle Island is the second largest island off the the coast of South Australia. This little paradise is blessed with good weather for the summer months and receives most of its rain in winter. The isolation provided by the island is perfect for leisure seekers but also holds excellent features for the more adventurous; the island is a popular site for rock climbing, surfing and scuba-diving.
