Tullah is a former mining town situated in the Lakes District of south west Tasmania. The lakes were formed by hydro electricity projects and are now well stocked with trout proving a haven for fly fishers. Tullah has a spectacular location on the shores of Lake Rosebery dominated by Mount Farrell and surrounded by dense forests.

Many walks can be accessed from nearby providing amazing views of distant peaks and lakes and stunning displays of wildflowers. Also close by are Montezuma Falls, the tallest waterfall in Tasmania at 113metres. An unusual attraction is the Wee Georgie Wood steam railway which operates a locomotive along the former Mt Farrell Tramway.
