The young and young at heart will enjoy Scarborough with it's great surf and exciting nightlife, while the more tame Sorrento is a family favourite. Quinessentially Australian, the Golden Outback region is the place to explore Aussie history and adventure. Check out the gold rush country of the late 1800's to explore museums and mines, knock back a refreshing ale in a historic pub or even pan for your own gold.
The Coral Coast
Along the Coral Coast to the north of Perth, the Indian Ocean is literally teeming with marine-life, including humpback whales, dugong, turtles, huge manta rays and colourful schools of fish. Go snorkelling straight off the beach into the incredible Ningaloo Reef, where you can swim with the Whale-Shark - the world's biggest fish, or blow a kiss to a tame dolphin at Monkey Mia. Inland, be amazed by the vibrant colours in wildflower season, or visit the Pinnacles and take a look at the unique limestone formations that have formed over millennia.
