Girls take the leap (Year)

7 February 2012

2012 is a leap year and according to an old Irish legend, St Bridget struck a deal with St Patrick, allowing women to propose to men every four years on February 29.

It’s becoming increasingly popular for couples to get engaged during a holiday. When choosing where and how to pop the question, it is best to consider what is meaningful and to choose something unique and personal. Asking your partner to marry you is one of the most memorable, yet anxious times in your life, so you want to be sure you have a plan in place to give the occasion the ultimate ‘wow’ factor.

Flight Centre has compiled a list of the top 10 most popular proposal destinations to help women decide on the perfect backdrop for that big moment.
