The Grand Pacific Drive

 
A 140 kilometre coastal drive heading south from Sydney; the Grand Pacific Drive encompasses some of New South Wales' most spectacular scenery and coastline, boasting some of the states most beautiful beaches and rock pools. Starting in the Royal National Park, head south along the coast to Wollongong, Shellharbour and Kiama with the drive finishing in Nowra. It's a scenic drive through rainforests and past seaside villages that follows a strip of pretty coastline. A highlight is Sea Cliff Bridge, an engineering marvel that swerves out from the cliffs over the ocean. Follow the directional signage as The Grand Pacific Drive signs provide a list of key locations and distances along the drive ensuring drivers don't miss the iconic spots along the way.

The Legendary Pacific Drive

Get back to nature in one of the 48 national parks or 12 state forests along this drive. Heading north from Sydney along the Pacific Ocean coastline to Byron Bay, the Legendary Pacific Drive takes you through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in New South Wales. An almost continuous line of surf beaches, national parks and a hinterland of rolling green hills and friendly villages make this a great 4-day or longer drive and is 780 kilometres long. Be sure to explore the Central Coast, Port Stephens, Coffs Harbour, Ballina and Byron Bay along the way.
