Where to eat in London

Flight Centre travel expert Kathryn Tremin from our Kerikeri Store has recently travelled to London. She shares with us her top 3 eateries when travelling through London where you can pick up everything from fresh produce to delicacies.

- Noodle King

With no reservations necessary, this is the perfect location for a relaxed meal or a lazy Sunday brunch with friends. You sit at long communal tables with the menu printed on the placemats. The noodles are plentiful, fresh and cooked to order.

I recommend trying the apple juice as it comes freshly squeezed, cloudy and delicious!

On your way home head along Brick Lane to the 24 hour bagel shop – it’s only a few pennies a bagel and the salt beef bagels are delicious to take away for later.

- Tachbrook Street Market

Close to Pimlico tube station and open from Monday – Saturday, you have everything from fresh fish, fruit and vegetables to French pastries and also a range of second hand goods. Saturday’s tend to be bigger with more stalls to choose from.

I recommend trying the pistachio and chocolate danishes – they look particularly ugly but taste amazing!

- Harrods Food Hall

Wander the huge food hall and try the samples of cheeses and charcuterie. Purchase small amounts of the delicacies you like along with some crackers and create your own Harrods antipasto platter.

I recommend on a nice day head to Hyde Park around the corner for a picnic.
