Thames River Cruising Seasons

The Thames is England's longest river and it's best known for the lengthy stretch which dissects Greater London, which despite the occasional winter chill, remains navigable all year round.

Major Thames River Destinations

Oxford

Famous for its historic university, Oxford is one of the United Kingdom's most visited cities and this picturesque river town straddling the Thames is an ideal location for river cruising. There are a variety of Oxford river cruises on offer, including sightseeing, lunchtime and sunset cruises, all of which provide idyllic views of the surrounding Oxfordshire countryside.

Richmond-upon-Thames

Technically a borough of London city, Richmond began life as a prosperous town located some 13 kilometres from the centre of London. These days the only London borough to lie on both sides of the river, Richmond offers some of the city's most picturesque river views in what is a surprisingly rural part of London.

City of London

England's buzzing capital can be enjoyed from myriad vantage points, but arguably one of the most enjoyable ways to explore this massive metropolis is on a London river cruise. Many of the city's most famous sights are located along the banks of the Thames, including the Tower Bridge, the Greenwich Observatory, the Tower of London and William Shakespeare's re-created Globe Theatre.
