7 night cruise sailing from Warnemunde aboard the MSC Poesia

Visit Bergen, Norway, Molde, Norway, Hellesylt, Copenhagen, Denmark and Warnemunde.

Bergen

A jewel of a city set among seven sweeping hills and close to some stunning fjords, Bergen is Norways second-largest city. A lively university town, Bergen is steeped in culture and offers an inspiring mix of the ancient and the modern. The city is pleasantly compact and features a labyrinth of cobblestone streets as well as green and verdant areas perfect for rest and relaxation.

Molde Fjord

Molde has been a popular destination for tourists since the late 19th century. Nestled between the Romsdal Mountains and southern Norways surrealstretch of western coastline, Molde is known as the Town of Roses originating from the number of large gardens and flowers that sit amongst the predominantly wooden architecture. Every July, Molde is host to the oldest international jazz festivalin Europe. Music greats like Miles Davis, BB King and Ray Charles have performed at the festival.

Hellesylt

Hellesylt is a beautiful tiny ferry port on the magnificent Geirangerfjord. Hellesylt waterfall and sheercliff sides that plunge to Horindalsvannet, Europe's deepest lake - nearly 2,000 feet. A cross-country excursion between Hellesylt and Geiranger offers a glimpse of some of Norway's most spectacular mountain scenery.

Copenhagen

Copenhagen is Scandinavia's most vibrant and affordable capital, and one of Europe's most user-friendly cities. Small and welcoming, it's a place where people rather than cars set the pace, as evidenced by the multitude of pavement cafes and the number of thoroughfares that have been given over to pedestrians and bicycles. Amenable and relaxed, it also offers a range of entertainment which belies its relatively modest size. Cultural attractions, including major national museums, a selection of magical art galleries, a healthy assortment of performing arts events and one of Europe's most interesting film scenes.

MSC Poesia

Christened in Dover in April 2008 by MSC Cruises (UK), MSC Poesia is our very own poem to the sea. She is such a lovely ship that it's easy to wax lyrical about a cruise aboard MSC Poesia, just as it's easy to imagine yourself on a private balcony - there are 809 cabins with balcony to choose from - overlooking the ocean under a star-filled sky. During the summer months MSC Poesia cruises European waters taking in the majesty of the Norwegian fjords and the history and culture of the Baltic states. As summertime packs its bags and leaves Europe, MSC Poesia heads south for the perpetual carnival that is South America. If you're lucky enough to enjoy a cruise aboard MSC Poesia you'll discover luxury cruising at its best. Like her sisters, MSC Poesia is designed with an eye for the spectacular. On board you'll find a waterfall with bridges in the foyer, a zen garden in the sushi bar and a serene 13,000 square foot spa. And as well as looking after you, MSC Poesia, our third Musica class ship, also looks after the environment with the latest eco-technology.Suites and staterooms are spacious and elegant and most have private balconies. When you're out and about you can enjoy a glass of something with a certain vintage from the well stocked cellars of Il Grappolo d'Oro, or perhaps you'd prefer the casual ambience of the outdoor Mojito Bar? From casino to theatre and spa to cigar room, MSC Poesia has something for everyone. Naturally we look after the kids too, with all manner of activities and a delightful Stone Age dinosaur-themed play area! For all MSC Poesia departure dates, click here.
