  • Day 11 - Milford Sound (Cruising) The Maori believed it was a godly mason whose hand carved Milford Sound. The sheer precision of every slope is unfathomable, which is why Milford Sound is one of the most visually enticing natural wonders in all of New Zealand.
  • Day 11 - Doubtful Sound One of the unusual features of Doubtful Sound is that it has two layers of water. The fresh water flows on top of the seawater, and the two never mix together. As a result, much of the marine life can be found closer to the surface.

This may be true on the surface, but a bit of poking around this largest city of the South Island, population 360,000, will reveal a vibrant arts culture and adventurous spirit that's 100% "Kiwi."
  • Day 14 - Picton Imagine a scene of regal sailboats floating atop blue waters, hugged by a picturesque landscape of rolling green mountains and cloud sprinkled skies - this is Picton. Also enjoy fine dining, art galleries, nature trails and more.
  • Day 15 - Napier Known as the Art Deco City due to the world's largest concentration of art deco architecture. Travel into the foothills and you'll encounter a series of award-winning vineyards against a backdrop of rising mountains.
  • Day 16 - Wellington A red-hot arts scene, hip wine bars, designer boutiques, and steep hillsides lined with picture-perfect Victorian houses – the Kiwi capital has them all. If you’ve had enough of city trappings, nearby destinations like Wairarapa wine region beckon.
