  • Day 1 - Fort Lauderdale There is an abundance of things to see and do in the Ft. Lauderdale area: visit the newly redesigned Ft. Lauderdale Beach and cafes, stroll the historic Riverwalk, shop the luxurious stores on Las Olas Boulevard or adventure to the Everglades for an intriguing air boat excursion.

  • Day 8 - Ponta Delgada You'll be astonished to see, in the depths of the huge crater at the center of the island, two lakes--one emerald green, the other sky-blue. Your guide will explain. More astonishments: a cluster of hot springs bubbling in the mist.

  • Day 11 - Brest Located in the western part of Brittany, the town of Brest lies along a natural harbor. A home base for the French Naval Fleet, Brest is rich with maritime history, and its port is always bustling with activity. Brittany in well-known for its dramatic jagged coastline, lovely beaches and peaceful grottos - all within reach of the centrally-located port. A variety of protected parks are accessible on foot and dot the remarkable landscape. The Musée de la Marine de Brest houses exhibits detailing the watery traditions of the town. The Océanopolis marine center includes a variety of aquariums. Beyond the harbor, the 15th-century Chateau de Brest merits a look, and The Tour Tanguy displays relics of the town collected prior to World War II. Nearby, the 15th century church and splendid square in Lacronan are worth a stop, as well as the quaint village of Le Conquet.
  • Day 12 - Cherbourg An important naval base since the 19th century, Cherbourg became a major port when Napoleon installed massive breakwaters. A statue commemorates him in the town square, Place General de Gaulle, where you can also find quaint cafes, fine dining and good people watching. Shop the boutiques on rue Tour-Carree and rue de la Paix. Enjoy the public parks, lovely churches and stop by the Musee de la Liberation for a bit of local history.
  • Day 13 - Le Havre Tour from the port to the beaches of Normandy, moving reminders of D-Day landings. Or take off for a day in Paris and view the City of Light from the Eiffel Tower or a Seine cruise.
  • Day 14 - Zeebrugge (Brussels) From this busy port city tour to canal-laced Brugge; Brussels, home of the European Union; and Ghent, mecca for chocolate lovers. Sample shore excursion: Antwerp, City of Diamonds.
  • Day 15 - Amsterdam Here in Amsterdam, you can decide whether the real masterpieces are the gabled houses that flank graceful canals, or the van Goghs, Rembrandts and Vermeers that cover the walls of the city's grand museums.
  • Day 16 - At Sea

  • Day 17 - Scenic cruising Hardangerfjord
  • Day 18 - Molde The Molde area is rich in scenic attractions, including the Trollstigen Mountain Road, the Atlantic Road, and the 222 mountain peaks of Molde Panorama that offer exceptional vistas for photographers to capture. Go for a hike, explore the local caves, or stay in town and enjoy the excellent shopping and dining that Molde has to offer.
  • Day 19 - Geiranger Geiranger is a picturesque fjord town nestled in a crook of winding, namesake Geirangerfjord. Nearby, the Seven Sisters Waterfall takes a 5,000-foot plunge.
  • Day 19 - Cruising Geirangerfjord
  • Day 20 - Bergen A key member of the medieval Hanseatic League of Merchants, Bergen has had plenty of practice combining commerce with community. In this delightful city, you will find pleasure in the Bryggen waterfront district and marketplace, or travel out of town for some great backcountry hikes. On the shores of Nordnes Lake is Troldhaugen—the historic home of composer Edvard Grieg.
