Australia Zoo

A short drive from most of the main cities in the Sunshine Coast, this is a must-do when visiting here! Australia Zoo is very well set up for families and has lots to see and do. Frequent events with various animals will keep the kids entertained for hours! See live croc feeding from the safety behind the fence, or hand feed some of the native kangaroos! If you want to get the most out of the Zoo, jump on board a Zoo Tour and get your own guided tour of the Zoo from one of the experts.

Only a short distance from the Sunshine Coast, the Hinterland is a must for travellers to the area. Boasting some of the best rainforest walks in the state, the Hinterland has a vast range of towering trees, waterfalls, wildlife and more. Easily accessible, the views from the top are to die for! If you are in to your local history, this is the place to visit. Featuring many historic villages with an average elevation of 450m, it's something completely different to the white sandy beaches on the coast. Many of these villages have fantastic shops that you will not find anywhere else. Places like Montville which was first settled in 1887 and has now grown into a thriving shopping precinct. Featuring shops from fashion boutiques to galleries and gift shops to cafes.

Mooloolaba Beach

Every family loves the beach, and Mooloolaba is one of the best. Family friendly with constant life guard watch, this is the best place to go to and relax with the kids. While they are running around and making sandcastles, you can put your feet up and enjoy the sunshine

Eumundi Markets

One of the best markets in the Sunshine Coast region can be found here. Everyone loves to have a little bargain hunt every now and again! Located just north of Noosa, the markets have an awesome vibe about them with everyone friendly and plenty to see and do.
