Cabin Classes
Economy
Economy Class cabins contain seats with a pitch of 31 to 32 inches, wide seats and seat-back screens. Passengers are provided with pillows, bottles of water and may access the internet while onboard. The in-flight menu includes warm meals, salads, breads, deserts and a range of beverages. Lufthansa aircraft have audio/video on demand entertainment systems offering 20 movies in 8 languages, 35 TV shows, 9 games and 115 music CDs and audio books. Food and entertainment can vary depending on the flight.
Premium Economy
Premium Economy provides more space than economy, with an extra 50% legroom and seat width designed especially for Lufthansa. Passengers also receive a travel kit, more entertainment, and more baggage allowance.
Business
Business Class cabins contain 2 metre angled flat beds, privacy screens, in-seat power supply, personal storage, foot rests and personal screens. Passengers are provided blankets, pillows, duvets and amenity kits containing ear plugs, socks, masks, lip-balms, body lotions, toothbrushes and toothpastes. The in-flight menu includes a choice of 3 starters, classic German and intercontinental dishes, breakfasts, bread, salads, desserts, chocolate, snacks and a range of beverages including premium wines. Individual express menus and 'breakfast-to-go' options are also available. Business Class cabins have Audio Video On Demand entertainment systems offering 50 movies in 8 languages, 35 TV shows, 9 games and a large library of music CDs and audio books.
First
First Class cabins contain 2 metre flat beds, privacy screens, in-seat power supply, personal storage, massage function, foot rests and personal screens. Passengers are provided blankets, pillows and amenity kits containing cosmetics. The in-flight menu includes hors d'oeuvres, classic German and intercontinental dishes, breakfasts, bread, salads, desserts, chocolate, cheeses and a range of beverages including premium wines and Champagne. A 'Dreamer's Delight Menu' offering a selection of treats is also available. First Class cabins have audio/video on demand entertainment systems offering 50 movies in 8 languages, 35 TV shows, 9 games and a large library of music CDs and audio books.
Baggage
Economy Class passengers are allowed 1 piece of 8kg hand luggage and 1 piece of 23kg checked baggage. Premium Economy are allowed 2 pieces of checked luggage at 23kgs each, Business Class passengers are allowed 2 pieces of 8kg (each) hand luggage and 2 pieces of 32kg (each) checked baggage. First Class passengers are allowed 2 pieces of 8kg (each) hand luggage and 3 pieces of 32kg (each) checked baggage.
Check-in Options
Lufthansa offers mobile and web check-in on some flights from 23 hours before the departure time. Check-in times do vary depending on the destination. Please refer to the airline for details.
Rewards Program
The Miles and More rewards program allows members to earn points when they fly with Lufthansa, affiliated airlines or shop with their partners including hotels, car hire companies, credit card programs and other retail companies. Accumulated points can be used towards discount flights, upgrades, extra baggage and other benefits with Lufthansa and their partners.
Lounges
Lufthansa has a range of lounges including a Welcome Lounge, a First Class Lounge, Senator Lounges and Business Lounges spanning 27 locations. The First Class Lounge and Welcome Lounge are located at Munich Airport in Frankfurt. Lounge facilities vary between locations and can include quiet rooms with day beds, showers and baths, business facilities, TV screens and wireless internet access. The First Class Lounge offers buffet dining, à la carte menus and a fully stocked bar. Business Lounges have bistros that serve a selection of food and beverages. First Class passengers, Business Class passengers, HON Circle Members and Miles & More Senator Card holders have select access to lounges. Please refer to the airline for more details.
