1. How does the Flight Centre Gift Card work?
   

   The Flight Centre Gift Card is a prepaid card which allows the holder of the card to shop at any participating Flight Centre retailer.

   The recipient of the card is able to use the card on as many occasions as they choose, until the value of the card is redeemed. Each time a purchase is made, the purchase amount will automatically be deducted from the Gift Card balance.

2. Do Flight Centre Gift Cards expire?
   

   Flight Centre Gift Cards expire 12 months from the last transaction date. The last transaction date can be either the last top up or redemption date.

3. Where can Flight Centre Gift Cards be purchased?
   

   Flight Centre Gift Cards can be purchased, redeemed or recharged at any Flight Centre store throughout New Zealand.

4. What are the Gift Card Terms and Conditions of use?
   

   Treat this card like cash. Defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen cards will not be replaced or redeemed.

   This card is redeemable for merchandise or services at participating Flight Centre New Zealand stores only, not redeemable for cash. This card expires 12 months from the last transaction. Cash will not be given for any unused balance. Unused balance on expiry of this card will not be refunded or credited.

5. Can more value be added?
   

   Yes, Flight Centre Gift Cards are rechargeable. Any amount from $25 to $10,000 can be added on the card at any Flight Centre store nationwide.

6. What if a Flight Centre Gift Card is lost or stolen?
   

   Please treat Flight Centre Gift Cards as cash. Cards will not be refunded or replaced if lost or stolen.

8. Can the Gift Card be used at ATMs? / Can the recipient get cash for the Gift Card?
   

   The Flight Centre Gift Cards can not be used at ATMs or exchanged for cash.

9. What if the item I want to purchase costs more than the value on my Gift Card?
   

   Flight Centre Gift Cards can be used in conjunction with other forms of payment when used in store. If used online they must be used to pay for the entire transaction.

    Once value is loaded onto the card, it can be used straight away.

11. What denominations are available?
    

    Any amount between NZ$25 to NZ$10,000 can be loaded onto the card.

12. How can I check the balance on a Gift Card?
    

    Balances will appear on transaction receipts or alternatively check online at www.flightcentre.co.nz/giftcards and use the 4 digit Access Code on the back of the card.

    There is no limit to the amount of times a Gift Card can be used until the whole value is redeemed.

14. Can I still buy and use paper gift vouchers?
    

    Flight Centre paper vouchers will continue to be redeemed by participating Flight Centre retailers until they reach the expiry date printed on the vouchers. However, as of 1 January 2008, paper based vouchers will no longer be sold.
