Catch a Cleveland train from Brisbane’s Roma Street, Central or Southbank stations to the end of the line (50 minutes), then a free Stradbroke Ferries bus to the island water taxi. Stradbroke Ferries, a major supporter of the Festival, offers patrons discounted vehicle ferry travel between Cleveland (mainland) and Dunwich (North Stradbroke Island). Fans of reggae, soul, dub, and global electronic music flock to this sand island off the Gold Coast for what’s arguably the best festival of its kind in the South Pacific. Festival dates may change so check the website for updates.
