To check the status of your Korean Air flights after booking, talk to your Travel Expert or use the real-time flight status search tool on the Korean Air website if you’re departing within the next few days. More information on how to manage your booking and flight change notifications can also be found in our Help Centre.

While last-minute Korean Air sale fares may become available, you’ll generally find it pays to plan ahead. Most airlines release tickets around 11 months in advance, and as a rough guide, we recommend booking your flights between six and nine months before you plan to travel. When it comes to balancing airfare availability with the biggest savings, this should give you the best of both worlds!

Flying in Economy? Korean Air tickets will generally allow you to bring one personal item and one carry-on bag (55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm) with a maximum combined weight of 10kg.

In most cases, passengers can also bring one checked bag weighing up to 23kg with a maximum linear dimension of 158 cm. The linear dimension of your bag is calculated by adding the height, length and width (including wheels and handles).

Baggage allowances will vary depending on your flight itinerary, ticket class and loyalty program status, so check your tickets to see what’s included with your Korean Air airfare. Need to add extra baggage to your flight booking? Talk to your Travel Expert before heading to the airport!

You may be able to earn frequent flyer points on eligible Korean Air flights booked with us. When booking online, you’ll see a place to add your loyalty program or frequent flyer membership details if this is available for your flights, or you can ask your Travel Expert to do it for you when booking in-store. If the airfare meets your program’s requirements, you’ll earn points! For more information, check with your specific loyalty program and see our Booking Terms and Conditions

Korean Air has its main international hub at Seoul’s Incheon International Airport, connecting Northeast Asia with major cities all over the world. Tokyo and Osaka are key destinations for Japanese business and leisure travellers, while Shanghai and Beijing are busy traffic corridors into China. Los Angeles and New York serve as major transpacific gateways from South Korea to the United States.

We sure do! When you book Korean Air flights with us, you’ll have access to our experienced team of Travel Experts before you take off, as well as 24/7 emergency support while you’re away for added peace of mind. More information on how to contact us can be found in our Help Centre, or you can always talk to your Travel Expert if you made your flight booking in-store.
