Does your idea of a great pool involve clean water and a dive board? If so, be prepared to be knocked out of your flippers! Cruise lines have stepped up their sailing game when it comes to creating bigger and better recreational centres and world-winning restaurants – and their pools are no exception.
Take a look at the top 10 cruise pools you could dive into on your next holiday.
1. Regent Seven Seas
Making its maiden voyage on the 20 July 2016, the Seven Seas Explorer will be the most luxurious ship from the Regent Seven Seas fleet. Located on a private outdoor deck and part of the lavish Canyon Ranch SpaClub will be an inviting teak-deck terrace with an infinity-edge plunge pool. The pool serves as a dramatic focal point as it contours to the stern of the ship. Guests will be treated to incredible sea views as they bathe in the therapeutic waters of the pool.
2. P&O Australia
If you’re looking for a unique pool experience, be sure to hop aboard P&O Australia's newest two ships, Pacific Aria & Pacific Eden. The Lido Pool Deck is fully climate controlled with a retractable steel and glass roof, allowing you to enjoy the pool regardless of the weather! With more of a resort style feel, the pool deck is filled with cozy cabanas and comfortable day beds for you to relax by during the day and enjoy live music & drink cocktails at night!
3. Crystal Cruises
Relax and rejuvenate on Crystal Serenity’s sun-kissed teak deck before sliding into its stylish Seahorse Pool. 5. Azamara Club Cruises
At night, Azamara Club Cruises’ Quest and Journey evolve into incredible spectacles as they host poolside buffets and parties. Live music and colourful lighting and décor set the scene for an ocean celebration. If you need a breather from dancing up the deck, dip your feet into the pool before getting back to it.
6. Carnival Cruise Lines
Carnival Cruise Lines treat their passengers to an unforgettable pool and waterpark experience with their Carnival Legend and Carnival Spirit cruise ships.
