The Cortina d'Ampezzo resort hosted the 1956 Winter Olympics and was the location for the famous James Bond skiing stunt featured in the film For Your Eyes Only. There are 70 slopes across various adjacent mountains including Faloria, Cristallo, Mietres, Tofana, Laqazuoi and Cinque Torri.

Getting There

The nearest airports to Cortina d'Ampezzo are in Venice, Treviso, Bolzano and Innsbruck. There are regular trains to Pieve Di Cadore, 35km from the resort where travellers can take a connecting bus. Book flights to Italy online.
